Kilkenny based artist Niamh Curry persuaded 30 artists to participate in this exhibition with all the proceeds from any sales going directly to the GOAL Haiti Earthquake Fund. Featured artists include Niamy Curry, Gerry Cahir, Daire Irwin, Seamus Nolan, Gottfried Helnwein, Ruth Brennan, Louise Carroll, George Barrett, Al Barrett, Sinead Barrett, Glenn Fitzgerald, Shay Hurley, Billy Keefe, Aidan Butler, Yanny Petters, Grainne Phelan, Ann Brennan, Eamonn Hartley, rebekah Stovold, John Crowley, John Kelly, Eoin de Leastar, Orla Clancy, Paul Morrissey, Mary O'Brien, Margot Banks, Sean Corcoran, Bob Dixon, Helen Steele, Miranda Cleary Corcoran. The exhibition was a great success. In a very generous gesture photographer Bob Dixon has offered to raffle his 5ft long framed and signed image of lead Frames singer and Oscar winner Glen Hansard. Andrew Ludick - New Work

Andrew Ludick - 7 May 2010 - 12 June 2010

American Andrew Ludick graduated with a Major in Illustration from the Columbus College of Art ,Ohio in 2000. He has worked in many graphic arts fields, from editorial illustrator to mural painting, as well as fine arts painting. He has been a living in Castlecomer since 2003. During that time, he has pursued painting and drawing and has had several exhibitions of his work in Kilkenny and Dublin. For the past five years he has been focusing his craftsmanship on ceramics. Andrew hand builds his pieces using white earthenware clay, which are then decorated with coloured slips. He uses several hand building techniques to create a blank canvas to which he applies patterns and decoration before coating with a glossy clear glaze, thus ensuring that each piece is a unique work of art in both its shape and decoration. Andrew's main influences are the arts and designs from indigenous cultures of Africa and the Americas, work by artists such as Paul Klee and Joan Miro and the music of Thelonious Monk and Eric Dolphy.

Style Clonmel Festival was inaugurated in 2009 with the aim of raising the town’s profile through all things stylish! For 2010, the Narrow Space Gallery is delighted to showcase the work of fashion photographer Miki Barlok in an exhibition entitled ‘Focused on Fashion’. A Slovakian who has been living and working in Ireland for the past 4 years, Barlok’s background in architecture has a strong influence on the structure of his photographic images. Dynamic, exciting and strong. His reputation has grown considerably since his arrival on our shores and his work is highly thought of. The exhibition well worth a look for those with both a love of fashion and photography! Admission is free and everyone is welcome!
